ReFresh Preview Party

Parkway Partners is a proud supporter of the SPROUT NOLA’s ReFresh Community Farm at the new ReFresh site on Broad Street.  This site is also home to New Orleans’ newest Whole Foods!

Stop by on February 1st between 12-3pm to meet Emily Mickley-Doyle and Matt Glassman, Founders and Farmers of the ReFresh Project Community Farm, and get a taste of what’s coming to Broad Street with the ReFresh Project.

Join Broad Community Connections, Liberty’s Kitchen, Tulane Center for Culinary Medicine, Whole Foods Market, FirstLine Schools, Parkway Partners, and the other community partners for an afternoon of food, demonstrations, activities, and more!


Garden Beds Built at KIPP Central City Academy

KIPP Garden Build

Last Saturday, January 11th, 15 volunteers came together to build 6 more beds at our newest schoolyard garden at KIPP Central City Academy. Volunteers hailed from Parkway Partners, the Master Gardeners of Greater New Orleans, and KIPP Central City.  Materials were donated by NOLA 4 LIFE.

February 2nd Saturday


Learn how to harvest your rainwater at our next 2nd Saturday.  Speaker, Demetria Christo from EcoUrban Landscaping designs and installs rainwater harvesting systems.

When:  Gates open from 9am-noon, Saturday, February 8th

Where:  Parkway Partners – 1137 Baronne Street, New Orleans, LA 70113

At the Greenhouse:  Vegetable and herb starts, pollinator flowering shrubs and fruit trees.

Constructing KIPP Central City’s Garden



This Saturday we will be constructing 6 new raised beds at KIPP Central City’s Schoolyard Garden.
