About The Feast

For over 25 years, Parkway Partners has hosted Feast with the Stars, a Sunday brunch featuring A-list local celebrities and delectable New Orleans fare set in the Gallier Hall with a lively Dixieland Jazz setting the mood for the festivities. In 2016, the format changed from a collection of entrees from various chefs to paying homage to a local hero, Leah Chase, at her famed restaurant, Dooky Chase. This is the organization’s major fundraising event, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support tree planting and greenspace education. Feast also offers the opportunity to honor community members who work to preserve and expand New Orleans’ greenspace, through the Green Spirit Award. Past recipients of the Award include Margaret Orr, Jackie Clarkson, Michael Karam, Jared Zeller and in 2016, Dr. Bob Thomas.

This year, as we launch the strategic re-envisioning of Parkway Partners under Lanette Dumas, our new Executive Director, the Feast will return to the venue that held this beloved event in its inaugural year: The New Orleans Board of Trade. Catering will be provided by Pigéon Catering. The menu won’t disappoint, nor will the bloody mary bar nor our signature cocktail! Guests will be entertained by the lively tunes of the Messy Cookers Jazz Band, surprise guest appearances and an interactive silent auction experience.

You won’t want to miss this time-honored event in such a beautiful space, as Parkway Partners honors the 2017 Green Spirit Award winner Dana Brown and sets the stage for the year to come!
