It’s that time of year when we ask ourselves, what should I plant in my garden?

Warm season plants, of course!

If your interest lies in flowers, then you can start Cosmos, Zinnias, Marigolds, Tithonia, and Sunflowers from seed.

If you have a greenhouse, or wish to plant a “start” (a small plant that was started in a greenhouse and is now potted), then try Vinca and Begonias.

If you’re more into edible plants, then now is the time to sow a lot of seeds! Cucumber, Beans, Canteloupe, Collards, Corn, Eggplant, Green Onions, Peppers, Pumpkin, Squash, and Watermelon seeds can all be planted now. Other species that are best started in a greenhouse,  or purchased as a start, include strawberries and tomatoes.
