This August 22-29, 10,000 New Orleanians will engage in service projects across the city.
In celebration of our city’s resilience on the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, we are partnering with our affiliated garden, CRISP Farms, and the Green Project, on August 29 in building new beds, a trellis and picnic tables, and also revitalizing the soil, weeding and tilling it.
The farm’s founder, Zach George, relentlessly volunteers on others’ projects. He has also recently purchased two additional lots, with three total lots dedicated solely for community gardening. We are proud to be able to give back to Zach and hope that you will join us in supporting him, hiss community and CRISP Farms.
