On the 2nd Saturday of each month, we host a workshop on a gardening--centric topic and plant sale.
Our six Seed Libraries offer free seeds (veggies, herbs, & flowers) to community gardens, urban farms, and any community member looking to try out gardening or test their green thumb on a new variety.
An effort to preserve and protect New Orleans' urban canopy, Save Our Trees tree care services also support Parkway Partners' other programs.
Providing instruction both in the classroom and in the field, this series offers a comprehensive training about New Orleans’ trees and its urban forest.
Since its inception, Parkway Partners’ Community Gardens Program has offered support to over a hundred community gardens, urban farms, and orchards.
A collaboration between Parkway Partners and the City of New Orleans Department of Parks and Parkways, the annual sale is also a special educational effort for home gardeners.
