The following are some of our successes since the storm:

•10,981 Katrina-downed trees replaced to date
•40 community gardens providing fresh locally grown food
•9 schoolyard gardens that support math and science learning
•Miles of neutral ground adoptions
•Incubation of and continual collaboration on several parks, including Friends of Joe W. Brown Park, Friends of Palmer Park and Brechtel Park
•More than 37 neighborhood associations that work with Parkway Partners on green projects

Parkway Partners works closely with the city, but we receive no funding from its budget. Just as we rely on volunteers to carry out our work, we depend on supporters like you to help finance our efforts. We are proud that an unprecedented 91% of income from the event goes directly into our programs.
